Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy


At Dubu Dubu India Private Limited, we have established a Non-Discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) Policy. This policy is applicable to all aspects of the relationship between Dubu Dubu India Private Limited and its Employees and Driving Partners. The policy encloses a wide range of areas including, but not limited to, employment, recruitment and termination, promotions, hiring and separation processes, compensation structures, employee assignments, classification protocols, termination procedures, career advancements, transfers, training initiatives, work environment conditions, salary administration, and the application of employee benefits and policies.


Dubu Dubu India Pvt Ltd maintains a strict policy of zero tolerance towards any kind of discrimination. This policy unequivocally covers all grounds, including but not limited to sex, race, creed, religion, color, age, disability, marital status, pregnancy, parental status, gender expressions, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, military status, domestic violence victim status, national origin, political affiliation, predisposing genetic characteristics, geographic location, and any other status protected by law. The aforementioned list is not exhaustive. Dubu Dubu India Pvt Ltd is committed to providing reasonable workplace accommodations in accordance with relevant legislation for individuals with disabilities who are qualified.

Discrimination in the provision of transport services is strictly forbidden.

It is imperative that all drivers and staff members associated with our organization are well-versed in the regulations prohibiting discrimination. Dubu Dubu India, Pvt Ltd strictly resists any form of discriminatory conduct, especially with public services like auto and cab services unlawful discriminatory practice to deny, directly or indirectly, any person the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodations (including auto and cab services) wholly or partially for a discriminatory reason based on place of business or residence.

Prohibited Discriminatory Conduct:

Dubu Dubu India, Pvt Ltd recognizes that associated drivers shall never discriminate against specific customers by refusing to pick them up, not dropping them where they desire to go, or not treating them with respect based on the protected characteristics or traits listed above. Specific examples of discriminatory conduct, include the following:

Refusing to pick up a passenger on the basis of any protected characteristic or trait, including not picking up a passenger with a service animal. Requesting that a passenger get out of an auto and cab service on the basis of a protected characteristic or trait, Using derogatory or harassing language on the basis of a protected characteristic or trait.

Geographic Discrimination:

Dubu Dubu India, Pvt Ltd firmly opposes geographic discrimination and recognizes the paramount significance of ensuring that each customer’s requested destination is served and respected without discriminating on where he or she wishes to go. All associated drivers, employees, managers, stakeholders, and agents at Dubu Dubu India, Pvt Ltd will adhere to these anti-discrimination policies. In some cases, local laws and regulations may provide greater protection than those described in this policy.


Dubu Dubu India, Pvt Ltd is dedicated to cultivating a work environment that is free from harassment. Any behavior that is unwelcome and objectionable to the recipient, resulting in an environment that feels intimidating, hostile, or degrading, goes against the principles of Dubu Dubu India, Pvt Ltd’s policy.. Harassment can occur between members of the opposite sex or the same sex. Harassment, verbal or non-verbal, explicit or implicit, based on an individual’s sex, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, religion, or any other legally protected characteristics will not be permitted. All employees, including supervisors, other management personnel, and independent contractors, are required to abide by this policy. No person will be adversely affected in employment with Dubu Dubu India, Pvt Ltd as a result of bringing complaints of harassment.


Harassment arises when there are unwanted sexual advances, appeals for sexual favors, or other forms of verbal or physical actions with sexual connotations, which are considered unacceptable when (1) acceptance of such actions is mandated, either explicitly or implicitly, as a requirement for employment; (2) agreeing to or refusing such conduct by an individual is used as a basis for employment decisions, promotion, transfer, selection for training, performance evaluations, benefits, or other terms and conditions of employment; or (3) such conduct is intended to or has the effect of creating a work environment that is intimidating, hostile, or offensive, significantly disrupting an employee’s work performance. Dubu Dubu India, Pvt Ltd prohibits inappropriate conduct that is sexual in nature at work, on Company business, or at Company-sponsored events. This includes but is not limited to, the following: making jokes, remarks, degrading language, displaying sexually suggestive objects, books, or any form of media electronic or in print form. Sexual harassment is prohibited whether it is between members of the opposite sex or members of the same sex.


Dubu Dubu India Pvt Ltd has developed an affirmative action program that seeks to enhance the presence and engagement of minority groups.


In the event that an employee feels that he or she has been harassed as outlined in this policy, they should promptly initiate a grievance with the Grievance Department, 192 Maraimalai Adigal salai Raja Nagar Puducherry 605013, or through email at admin@dubudubu.in. Once the matter has been reported it will be swiftly investigated and immediate corrective action will be taken when found appropriate. All complaints or unlawful harassment under this policy or otherwise will be handled with confidentiality. Timely reporting is advised to prevent the re-occurrence of, or otherwise address, the behavior that violates this policy or law. Delays in reporting a complaint can limit the type of effectiveness of a response by Dubu Dubu India, Pvt Ltd. The procedure for reporting incidents of discriminatory or harassing behavior is not intended to prevent the right of any employee to seek a remedy under available state or federal law by immediately reporting the matter to the appropriate state or federal agency.


Retaliation against any person associated with Dubu Dubu India, Pvt Ltd who reports instances of harassment – whether he or she is directly or indirectly involved – is in violation of Dubu Dubu India, Pvt Ltd’s policies. All reported incidents are regarded as being made in a sincere and genuine manner. Any allegations that are proven to be untrue will be treated as a serious matter.


Any employee engaging in behavior that breaches this policy will be liable to face disciplinary measures, including the potential termination of employment, whether or not an actual law has been violated.


Remedies for any instances of verified employment discrimination, whether resulting from intentional actions or actions leading to back pay, hiring, promotion, reinstatement, front pay, reasonable accommodation, or other actions deemed appropriate by Dubu Dubu India , Pvt Ltd. These remedies may also encompass payment of attorney’s fees, expert witness fees, court costs, and other applicable legal fees.
